Uh, I don’t know specifically what to tell you to ask for. It depends on what works for you or what works in the past. Are you just seeing a regular primary care (family) doctor?
Maybe your parents can help you?
or maybe a friend or something?

first of all, codeine and vicodin are two different things. you need a prescription to get either of them. if you want something good for the pain, go see a doctor. if not, suffer.
Unfortunately, the bottom line is eventually the “stupid people” that you’d have to talk to by getting such meds without a prescription (if you’re in the US) would be the DEA agents that come knocking at your door.
If you’re in Canada however, I do believe there’s still areas where you do not need a prescription for codeine.
